Changes to Patreon that AFFECTS both creators and members

Appleโs requirements are about to hit creators and fans on Patreon. Hereโs what you need to know (youtube.com)
APPLE IOS USERS:

Existing memberships will not be affected by the Apple fee. If you, as a member subscribed to a page in June 2024, for example, in the Patreon iOS app, future subscription payments will not incur the App Store fee. The App Store (Fee is 30%) and only applies to new memberships purchased in the Patreon iOS app starting on November 4, 2024. Current members and new members that subscribe on other platforms (e.g. mobile web, desktop web, or Android) can continue to interact with creators' works in the iOS app and will not incur the fee.
Most likely some Creator tiers will go up if a member uses the APPLE IOS Store to subscribe. THIS way, the creator has an option to cover the 30% fee that Apple is making mandatory, so that they won't lose revenue because of the fee; THIS is ONLY if you subscribe to ANY creator THROUGH the IOS store on the Patreon APP whether it's for gaming, podcast, artists etc........
