Duel Corp. Preview
Added 2023-08-02 02:01:28 +0000 UTCDuel Corp. is a new Souls-like from a two-man dev team called Dreameffect Entertainment. It puts an interesting spin on that style though--not only with its cute, superdeformed anime characters. It also has a unique take on combat, with you needing to attack and block in different directions to avoid damage. Makes for more sword-fighty, clashing weapons combat, rather than the Souls games style of "roll, block, roll, wait for an opening."
I like the Souls series, but I'm picky when it comes to Souls-likes. This one is pretty fun though. A demo is available on Steam, so go check it out if this looks like something for you. Until next time.
