(Tested only on Custom Shaders Patch 3.0)
General Overview
Version 1.4.2 of Mobile Cam represents a major technical step forward.
Leveraging the expanded APIs from CSP 3.0, several legacy instabilities were resolved, and a new layer of physical behavior was introduced for more realistic camera dynamics, while maintaining full performance stability.
Technical Improvements
Mouse Control Tab
The mouse now works fully independently from the camera. The cursor becomes invisible and unlimited when holding the right button to move the camera. Mouse Control tab allows setting mouse delay for precise control
Cameraman Mode
Simulates a gimbal mounted to the car, smoothing vehicle movement. Perfect for smooth, cinematic rolling shots. Operates through the right analog stick with a checkbox to invert the axis
Handhelshake
Adds more variables to camera movement, creating a richer and more dynamic experience
Human Behavior
Implements human-like behavior in camera movements, making each motion feel natural and realistic
Adjusted Initial Settings
Initial values were reduced to start the app closer to optimal settings, following MKElite’s request. G-force values are intentionally at maximum to prevent overly loose camera behavior, adjustable as needed
Stability and Mouse Physics
The app is now more stable, allowing continuous improvements. Mouse physics can now be applied for even more precise motion
Presets
Due to code size, a simple preset system is not yet feasible, but solutions are being explored
Reaction in Extreme G-Force Fixed
In extreme cases, such as the carousel on Nordschleife, the camera now responds correctly when properly configured. It is much more stable and offers greater control. You can reduce the spring to allow more camera movement; the values are set at 30 so you can adjust and find the ideal setting.
