Gems of power are quite valuable after all, and would prove priceless to an ambitious adventurer looking to make a name for herself... And if the priestess had her gem switched for a fake by her partner after making a deal with the demoness, well... that priestess would suddenly be very vulnerable to that angry, vengeful futa demoness~
