KB3D Air-System

This is the first version of the KB3D Air-System. Designed so you can connect multiple attachments to a single gasmask. With the integrated valves, you can turn on or off each of the connections.

Comes in a 3 valve or a 2 valve design.

The device itself, has a connection at either end, which is not controlled by a valve (depending on your use case, you may want to block of the ends). Then in between those two connections you have 2 or 3 valve controlled ports.

To assemble push the valves into the main body. Push on the lids so the clip into place. then attach the handles. The connectors are added on via the same mechanism as all the other rubber bunker based connectors - Long insert with the male, and short insert with female. once you have placed the insert, a bit of the insert will stick out of the connector, this needs to be pushed into the main body. If you find the connectors are constantly pulled out, apply glue to the insert, ensuring you do not stop the connector turning.

Another tip I have discovered. On my printers if the valves are really tight against the main body, before inserting the valves, I often flame with a blow torch the inside of the main body, so that the plastic softens a little. Then I push the valve in. This has improved the seal of the valves as well.
