I want to show a bit of a backstage for my portrait photoshoots. As some of you know I recently painted my wall fully black not only for the aesthetic but I also thought it would be a really nice background for all of my projects.
Next to this wall is standing a nice couch that you can see on the photos. I usually sit on the backrest but I must that it's not comfortable at all. But hey... what do we do to get the best shots?... :D.
The main source of light are my big windows. They work really well when there's no harsh light outside and of course when there's light at all... During the winter times the days are a lot shorter so I have to help myself with a lamp. As you can see on the last photo it's broken because it fell off of the desk and shattered into milion pieces during this exact photoshoot :'( It was really my favourite one.
Lastly I screen recorded my phone. I added this short film into the attachments. I use a Canon 6D camera for all of my photos. I downloaded an app called camera connect and it works perfectly with my camera. It's really making it so easy to take self-portraits because I can change all of the settings through my phone. I can also change the focus points there and see how the poses will work :)
I hope you'll enjoy this kind of posts as well. If you have any more questions you can of course ask them and I'll help you as much as I can.
Love, Erinthul.
