I sent it in right after Christmas requesting a gender marker change (I had to use Christmas money to pay the $130 fee) and now it's just stuck there in limbo. I need my passport for my job and now I don't know when I'll get it back. Worse, I may be looking at having it stuck saying Female on it. I transitioned a decade ago; I'm balding with a full beard for Christ's sake. Several of my friends are also being personally affected by this. It's week one. I'm afraid for what the next 4 years are going to look like for me and other trans people.
