2024-02-09 16:53:02 +0000 UTCI think if main stream news wasn't killed by the internet, we likely wouldn't have had as much of a change on public opinion, such as attitudes towards Palastine and isreal. I also think it's never been easier to find quality journalism, publications like The Lever and Breaking Points wouldn't have existed before the internet.

I’ve been trying to think of a pithy name for the event but haven’t done better than what a journalist friend calls it: “that time FB decided I was too financially stable”

2024-02-07 18:54:50 +0000 UTCokay but let me just say that the BILD tabloid is a racist, sexist, fear-mongering piece of trash and even though I understand the relevance for the argument of this episode, I hope and pray that they go out of business rather sooner than later (which won't happen because of course it is the bestselling tabloid/newspaper in Germany). and BILD belongs to the Axel Springer group just like Politico and Business Insider!!
