It’s been the last few decades when we’ve militarized the cops and trained them to view the general population as the enemy that has to be controlled rather than served. I get the point about using technology to replace cops for traffic stops but IMO that’s not really the problem. You shouldn’t risk a beating or death when you have to interact with the cops. I know I’m preaching to the choir. Come to think of it I saw an episode from SomeMore News where you talked about the fucked up military “warrior” training that cops get.
