Long Time, No Post!

Hey guys! Sorry there hasn't been much action going on over here, life's been a bit all over the place the last few months. Since it wasn't funded by Patreon, I didn't post about it over here, but if you weren't aware of the free EP of Night in the Woods covers I did back in March, well... now you are!

Now, there's a reason I haven't been posting too much in the last few months. Well, a few unrelated reasons, but one particularly relevant one, and that's because I've been working on the last two songs of the next album I'm gonna be releasing! This particular album is a kind of congregation of all the main songs I've released since Fiber-Optic Radio, so it'll mostly be songs that have already been released. That's why I maintained secrecy on posting these last two songs; I wanted some degree of new content for people to receive instead of it being literally nothing but old stuff, despite how long it took for the new stuff to be completed.

That being said, the album isn't gonna be just a quick slap-dash job. It's being professionally mastered by someone other than me (which I'm told is the ideal way to master), and I've got some pretty neat ideas for physical CD artwork that I think you guys might enjoy. Plus it'll come with a bunch of extras and goodies in the Bandcamp/CD release, so you'll have that to look forward to as well. There's another phase that's a part of this whole thing as well, but I'm not super deep into that yet so I don't wanna talk about it yet, in case it doesn't get off the ground.

I also wanted to ask you guys a question: would you mind if I tried rearranging the rewards system over here into more of a tip-jar system? As you've seen, I don't really have many bonuses to post over here, and the few that I do post, like the stems, don't really get much use from anyone outside of a very particular sect of people. I'm considering taking out the higher tiers entirely, and leaving it at one $1 tier per charged post, for both having your name in my videos, and a download for whatever the most recent song is at the time, which would switch out whenever a new one is released. This would mean that you wouldn't get the entire album when it comes out, or the Bandcamp extras; you'd only get the new songs as I release them.

Please let me know what you think about this.  Patreon's been this weird afterthought that I feel like I neglect, but I'd feel less like I was neglecting it if I was managing it differently.  I don't want Patreon to be another stress to worry about when releasing and managing content, but I don't want to screw you guys over either, so any feedback on this would be greatly appreciated.
