I forgot how much I really liked this episode. I always end up too excited for the upcoming one 😂 But this was such good character progression for Toph and Katara. And then even that little bit with Sokka talking about how he can’t remember his own mother’s face, which is soo sad. But also showcasing some fun new bending aspects. Like sweat bending, we’ve seen them use a wide variety of sources for water like the clouds in the desert and the plants in the swamp. Plus Combustion bending which is a super cool branch of fire bending. One of my favourite little tidbits is before he fires he sucks in his stomach. Now if you remember back, Iroh talks about the stomach being the sea of chi in the body, and that fire bending is directly created from a persons chi. So by sucking in his stomach they seem to be able to produce these concentrated beams of energy.
