This is such a good Katara episode. I’ve seen people consider it “filler” which I really think minimises Katara’s growth in this sort of turning point for her. A character who at the start of the show HATED the fire nation for everything it stood for wouldn’t turn her back on that same fire nation. We saw a little of this in season 2 where Katara was willing to heal Zuko’s scar while they were trapped.
