To give Fairy Tail credit, they didn't use the power of friendship as a power boost this time. They just used each other's presence as courage to stand up and fight.

2024-07-18 12:12:43 +0000 UTCimo even with all the "power of friendship" moments in this show, im thinking about parts of the finale season (i will not disclose anymore) and im realizing that there's kind of a reason that the "power of friendship" is so powerful in this anime..? just a random thought tho, prolly just thinking too hard lol iykyk but for now: comfy power of friendship time :) i just love it

2024-07-04 17:08:22 +0000 UTCadmittedly after a certain amount of time 'the power of friendship' can be a little grating... the random 'finding power' stuff can be a little annoying especially when the dialogue is like "oh no, im so out of power, i do not have a single bit of power left, i am unable to stand up" only for someone to immediately stand back up and win i think its fine to bully it a little bit, its a little bit silly, but on the other hand...the alternative to this is kind of 'and then they all died, the end' so i do kind of get why its like this. i think personally its all about finding the fun in it, and not taking it too seriously. "what ridiculous logic are they going to use this time" it kind of is a shame that the s class trials are messed up but in some ways i dont think many of them were really ready for s class anyways, although the experience of the trial is probably still good to learn from even if you dont make it to the end
