This episode is a real shift for Aang. He is a sweet lil pacifist no more. Going after the buzzardwasp to get momo is understandable but he attacked and killed it even after it was fleeing. That goes against the very nature of what we know of Aang. This is also I believe Tophs first experience with the avatar state and also truely angry Aang as a whole. Which from her perspective the usually sweet without a backbone Aang suddenly screaming out the, honestly demonic, voices of the past avatars would be something. π
