Update: PC failure

Soo I wanted to release something for valentine's day but a few days before that my CPU started overheating a lot. I tried changing the cooler, it didn't help and at that point the PC wouldn't run for more than 5 min before shutting down, even when nothing was running. So I got a new CPU, and it did not fix the issue. So I'm gonna have to send my PC to a repair shop and see what they can do about it.
But yeah TL:DR my PC is messed up and I can't use it right now, therefore can't work on anything. Hopefully I get it repaired quickly and all goes back to normal soon.

ahh that sucks!! I've had the same issue on my PC a few moths ago and found out it was the PSU (power supply unit) failing. Once I replaced that, it worked again. It may be the same for you if it shuts down on its own without any application running. Hope all works out!!
