Glad you had a good first impression on the first episode! while not exactly scene for scene. I enjoyed this interesting adaptation of the Story of monkey D Luffy and his quest to be king of the pirates and find the one piece! I think you will like the rest of the episodes!

2023-09-12 04:49:04 +0000 UTCThe one big difference I remember, though I haven't watched the early One Piece in over a decade, is that Koby plays a much more focused character this season. In the he anime kind of disappears for a while until later. Garp also plays a more important role which if you continue this you'll understand. The overall season was great and definitely helped by having Oda heavily involved.
