Posting higher tier works

Now that some sites like yiff is dead, i hope. SHould i start posting 5$ and 10$ tiers on patreon instead of giving them out as downloadable files? This allows people to see previous tiers, even though i did say if you pledge for a few months you can request the download links for previous works via message. (5-10$ tiers i give u a 3 month/50$ pledge limit before allowing request)

Comments

Thanks, perhaps i'll only post bustshots since those aren't so bad to share.

Just comments in general really. In every place I post my art, my comment section is pretty dead. It's pretty much a "If I'm not gonna get comments no matter what I do, I might as well get paid for it," scenario.

I kinda feel this, but at the same time, I'm not sure what you would want as far as "feedback" goes. Like, most of the "feedback" comments I see are mostly "I don't like this so make it the way I want it".

All of the yes votes are from people of lower/lesser tiers who want EVERYTHING. Yeah, no. If you want access to older works, up your pledges.

Maybe post a picture or two from that month, whether on Patreon or publicly. It's hard for me to say though. I personally keep my stuff behind a paywall for three reasons. One, I'm trying to build up a store so that I'm not stuck doing hamster wheel work (basically work that only makes money when you're actively doing it). Two, I personally don't think it's fair for someone to only pledge a small amount and get access to everything someone who pledged far longer and far more. And three, and this is more of a personal reason on my part, my audience doesn't really comment or give me feedback, so getting paid for my work is my only way of feeling appreciated. Anyway, point is, it really depends on how you want to monetize this.
