Comics or VN's (Read Desc First)

The visual novels will be a custom engine, and have a lot of cool elements I think are missing from a lot of what's out there. But I'm curious to know what type of content you prefer?
Deciding on one doesn't mean I wont do the other, It's more just so I can get an understanding!
