CBS is weird with all their properties but based on the description of Harper's Island as crime mystery drama I'd recommend if you've never seen it check out Luther from the BBC, It's on HBOMax I know for sure, might be available on other streaming stuff. But it's a great crime drama starring Idres Elba and as an English show it has short seasons, I mean with 5 seasons they've only had 20 episodes. Worth a checkout, it's very well recieved both critically and audience wise.
