2020-06-01 17:04:22 +0000 UTCOk, nerd glasses on because like Blue Exorcist I love this show (if request tier wasn't always sold out this is the show that was gonna be my request) and it has many interesting side notes that happen to overlap with things I have studied intensively the mysticism involved in many different religions, belief systems, and mythologies from around the world this show incorporates many interesting tidbits of knowledge. Many of the characters we are introduced to use actual demonic names from Judeo Christian mysticism. One example is Azz's full name being Asmodeus Alice, Asmodeus is a well known and powerfully ranked demon in Judeo Christian mysticism dating back centuries. Same goes for Professor Kalego Naberius, Naberius is another powerful demon high ranking demon in Judeo Christian mysticism dating back centuries as well. It's small touches like this that really make shows very unique.
