She seemed momentarily shocked by the size of the abomination she summoned, and when she claimed to not even know it was there she sounded genuinely distraught. In alot of shows she would have actively participated in the cheating, to show off or put rival in their place. Amity is more than just a stuck up brat, she is a hard working person who our main character has humiliated at every turn with her antics, and cheating, even if this time it wasn't technically her cheating, and it justifies her bad blood with the protag in a way other shows won't, and I really appreciate that.

2020-02-20 04:51:43 +0000 UTCI wonder if they used a different studio for the fight scene? The movements were much more fluid than the usual show. Also, I love how quickly they grounded the jerk foil character, giving her more motivation than just “jerk.” And while she is mean, Amity isn’t wrong that Luz’s cheating and antics have (unintentionally) embarrassed her twice now. My favorite thing in shows is when clever writers fix a bad cliche.
