Character Lore | Alisa 🐈

Alisa (full-name Alisa Armbrust) grew up in District 3 on Cursa and was raised by her mother, Angelica, a beautiful and intelligent woman who was determined to provide for herself and her daughter by any means. They had a close relationship, and Angelica would teach her young daughter many things about the world, encouraging her to be both intuitive and independent.

While the family of two were no strangers to the struggles of Cursan life, Alisa was a resourceful child, much like her mother. She learned how to barter from a young age, earning herself a reputation for her silver tongue, and if persuasion didn't work...

Well, she was always a pretty good thief.

Though she had as loving a home as any Cursan could hope for, Alisa liked to spend her time on the streets taking in strays, both feline and human. She soon met the boy who would become her closest friend, Damon Reznor, and the two of them would cause all sorts of havoc within the streets of neighbouring districts.

In recent years, Alisa has spun the story that her mother passed away from an illness. Knowing that she can't take any chances, even those closest to her are fed the same lie.

When Alisa took leadership of the clan, Crimson Dusk, she knew her mother was the first person she would have to protect. There were those on Cursa who wouldn't hesitate to use someone she loved against her, specifically the K'Merii, and showing weakness of any kind wasn't a particular habit of hers.

Angelica moved to a neighbouring District, where Alisa visits her in secret to this day and keeps her safe, disguising her trips as business. Alisa provides for Angelica, as her mother did for her all her life, and ensures she never has to work any of the degrading jobs she had in the past.

While Alisa has been a tough and ruthless leader in the past, she finds it harder and harder to keep a shell up around herself. Especially with that simpering leader of the Azure Dawn becoming a daily headache, though he is good for a bit of fun every now and then...

As a prominent figure on Cursa, Alisa is currently occupied with the future of her planet, and those who will lead it into the future. She's not afraid to fight for their right to independence, and she will certainly make herself heard.
