Hello Everyone! I'm here to bring some updates on my newest Akali cosplay and to have a little talk about the challenges on the production of Bunny Girl cosplays! <3
As most of you know this is not the first time I've done a Bunny Girl outfit, in my counter, I've done it 4 times 'till now (i'm not including the ones based on mice which are Ham D.VA and Lunar Year Mimichuuu), and I really love the look and aesthetics of Bunny Girls outfits, they just feel and fit so right!
Bunny Akali is going to be my fifth bunny girl and also part of the rewards for this month! Lately, I've been working hard to get her bodysuit right! the most challenging (read: Annoying) part are the details on the tummy! I'm still figuring out a way to "attach" these "scratch" looking graphics to the suit. I've tried to glue them on but since it's a stretching material, it all goes crazy after you take out/put on the suit! This would work on the day of the photoshoot only, but idk if it's a good way! Another way is to sew these parts...but I guess all the lines would break or get loose with the stretching! Decisions....decisions!
Anyways! I thought it would be cool to bring some of my creative process and make a little retrospective about our beloved Bunny Girl cosplays! Now! Let's go back to the project table and make this cute Akali happen!
