Elsewhere Poll | MC Age Preference

We're going to be jumping into production for our next game, Elsewhere, around the start of 2022, and we'd love to get your input on a few things before we head into it!
Elsewhere will be a dark-fantasy amare visual novel, where you play as a human who has been taken to the Faerie world of Elsewhere to act as a Champion in a deadly contest amongst the Fae.
MC has a set job before the events of the story as a bartender and has been at their job for at least a couple of years, hence the poll options beginning at 22.
Our question for today is, which age would you prefer MC to be?
A couple of points to consider:
- Many of the LI's are Fae or similar, and so their ages may range all the way into the hundreds.
- The game will be rated 18+ and contain sexual content.

2021-09-16 09:27:26 +0000 UTCMC really doesn't feel like an adult-adult, tbh. They've got a real babe-in-the-woods feel that I don't feel can be chalked up to being so sheltered. I'd mark them as being as young as 18 I'd that were an option.

2021-08-20 06:31:50 +0000 UTCI feel like mid-late 20, early 30s MCs deserve more rep in all forms of interactive fiction. It makes romancing a supernatural that is centuries older feel less predatory.
