for the peeps that are angry about his inactivity, i just wanted to point something out and js kinda bring out some compassion it kinda seems to me like jack’s been deteriorating :( he stopped titling his posts and talking for one, now has just been putting (seemingly) random symbols in the titles and descriptions. It looks like a loss of motivation to me so i just felt the need to say it. If you’re upset about paying when he hasn’t been posting for a while, you can rlly just unsubscribe and occasionally look back to see if there’s anything new at least consider his side of it too, he could be struggling and complaining could just make it worse be either nice or quiet, you don’t know what someone’s going through, being mean won’t likely make any change. it’s not hard to just stop paying if you’re unhappy i’m sorry Jack for all of this and what you might be going through, i hope you can find motivation and time to make something again soon take your time, dinner isn’t over🫶🫶

But I think it’s worth zooming out a bit before throwing Jack Stauber under the bus. Artistically, Jack has always operated in his own strange, unpredictable rhythm. He never promised traditional output, and frankly, part of what made his art so unique is that it never tried to follow expectations. His work is deeply personal, layered, and often abstract - it’s not the kind of thing you can churn out on a schedule. And if you were ever truly moved by it, then you already know it didn’t come from a formula or factory. It came from someone experimenting, exploring, and sharing when they could. Personally, we don’t know what Jack is going through. Creative burnout, mental health, life changes - these things don’t always come with public explanations. The internet has created this idea that artists owe us transparency 24/7, but they really don’t. Jack gave a lot through his music, videos, and art. Just because he’s quiet now doesn’t mean he stopped caring - it might mean he’s trying to preserve what’s left of himself in a world that constantly demands more. Now, about Patreon - yes, people have every right to cancel if they feel the value isn’t there. That’s the point of the platform: support if and when it feels right to you. But Jack isn’t stealing from anyone. Patreon is voluntary. He didn’t trick people, and he didn’t promise consistent content every month. Most of us joined to support his work and process - not to buy a subscription box. If he’s taking a break, that’s his right. If you no longer want to support it, that’s yours. What doesn’t sit right with me is the bitterness and hostility. You can leave quietly. You can unsubscribe without burning the place down on your way out. But acting like he’s some villain for not posting an “I quit” note feels more like projection than justice. At the end of the day, Jack’s art still exists. It still touched people. And even if he never posts again, that legacy is real. If we respected the mystery while he was creating, maybe we can extend a little grace now that he’s quiet.

I’ve been well aware it’s great for a while and don’t need to say it much anymore. Since this creator is giving his fan base silence then I’d like to do the same and have little expectations. I do agree that confirmation of his artistic status (ethically) is necessary. I’ll probably load a bunch of this patreon work into some cassette tapes for future listening, then unsubscribe and check back occasionally.

2025-05-17 05:37:09 +0000 UTCGuys I have a theory… and I might know why Jack Stauber Haven’t been posting 😅😱 So you know how Jack Stauber’s albums disappeared from YouTube and Spotify, well it’s because someone falsely copyrighted it, before Jack could, so he no longer had the right to the music, so he couldn’t keep it on his page. Well right about the same time that started was the exact same time Jack stauber dissapeared, but now at least one of his albums (Hilo) is back!! 😁 so that leads me to think that Jack Stauber was probably trying to win back the copyright (how else would he get his music back 😅) but because he was trying to win back the copyright he didn’t have time to work on any videos. But I might have some good news, because one of his albums is back, the rest will probably follow soon, and after that he’ll probably be back to his usual schedule 😁😁😁 but again that’s just a theory, and I don’t really know, just a guess.

I got really really close the first time I did it, where I predicted the cover image to be of two animated people looking at each other, one slightly shorter than the other, but other than that they looked pretty identical, but the key thing is that they both had arrows coming out of their eyes, so what’s you predictions for the next video. 😁

I know because I watched 9 of his Patreon videos before I actually joined his Patreon, which I still feel really guilty about :( But honestly, if it weren’t for the leaked videos I wouldn’t have even thought of really joining his Patreon!
