“Hmmm…what to do?” said Mason, tapping his chin as he contemplated all of the wonderfully horrible things he could do to Luna. Part of him wanted to kill her hope altogether and shoot the escape pod off into space but decided against it on the off-chance something went wrong on the ship. The alien controlling him was strategic, not petty.
Instead, it was the pair of conjoined crewmates that captured Mason’s attention. With the vast number of security monitors on the Juventas at his disposal, he could track everyone’s position at all times. Moreover, he also possessed the ability to open and close any corridor he chose. And Luna just so happened to be dangerously close to the wretched diaper monster. “Tell you what Luna. Why don’t we play a little game?” he said, dragging a slimy finger across the touch screen and priming the set of doors separating Luna from Donnie and Roland, “If you can make it to the escape pod before we catch up to you, I’ll let you go.”
“W-Wait, what?” said Luna, confused and concerned by the vague rules Mason was laying out for her. That was until the door directly behind her began to rise, deviating from the original path that Mason had created. Beyond that door, several others also ascended, clearing a long, dark corridor that Luna was unable to see the end of. She could feel her heartbeat pulsing in her ears as she let out a shaky breath, her eyes unblinking.
“...ehehehehehe!”
*THUMP! THUMP! THUMP!*
Suddenly, from the darkness came forth a menacing chuckle that rattled Luna to her core, followed by a set of booming footsteps. It wasn’t long before the outline of the creature made itself visible. “I must thank you, Luna. You may not have seen his potential but I assure you, Mason will prove to be a very useful asset,” said Donnie and Roland in unison.
Refusing to wait until the goo creature made the first move, Luna frantically spun around and took off sprinting midway through their sentence. She didn’t care if didn’t know the ship well enough to know how far she was. She didn’t care if it was futile. Gripped by fear for her life and her work, her legs carried her faster than she’d ever run in her life.

“I don’t get it. Why did we get locked on a path to the escape pod?” said Ellis as he and Meg arrived at the door to the escape pod.
Shrugging her shoulders, Meg lowered her head and sighed as she responded, “You think Mason or Luna knows something we don’t? Like, perhaps they’re trapped and trying to give us a chance to get out of here.”
“Don’t know but I doubt it. Mason knows I wouldn’t leave and Luna…well, I don’t exactly see Luna as the altruistic type,” scoffed Ellis, injecting a brief moment of levity into the conversation for himself and Meg to snicker at. In his mind, he’d already resigned himself to his fate should he fail to corral the slime creature. A captain must go down with the ship, after all. So using the escape pod to run was out of the question for him.
Meg, on the other hand, was gazing into the vacant, launch-ready escape pod with tired eyes. After getting up close and personal with Donnie and their gooey invader, she had little interest in going toe-to-toe with them again. Perhaps making a run for it was their best move.
Regardless, Meg was absolutely certain about two things: the escape pod was stocked with dozens of fresh diapers and her butt was seriously starting to itch from her recent messing. “Either way, I’m heading in and getting changed. I don’t know about you but I’m not keen on spending another minute in this shitty diaper.”
“Pun intended?” said Ellis, earning a death glare from his subordinate, “Y-You can go first. I’ll keep a watch out here.”
Parting from Ellis without another word, Meg entered the escape pod and shuttered the door behind her. “Alright, diapers, where are you hiding?” she said, looking around as she unzipped her jumpsuit and began stripping down. To her surprise, there weren’t any compartments labeled with changing supplies; something she found odd until she spotted a large machine stationed on the far side of the pod. “Oh no…not you,” she said, gritting her teeth as she gazed upon the world’s worst diaper-changing machine known to man.
Ellis had purchased the changing machine as a way to save time on changes, only to find out after the sale was complete that the device he bought was far more fetishy than he’d initially realized. They collectively decided to toss it but apparently, it wound up getting repurposed in the escape pod, likely as a cost-saving measure by Ellis. “Thanks a lot, boss,” groaned Meg, as she considered whether or not staying in her messy diaper was a better option.

Oh how the game changes. Luna is now the mouse, and the other two have to be fetishy or try to break a machine...
