In an instant: spirals formed in her eyes, she took one sandal off, then lifted her bare sole into the air while holding her worn Birkenstock in her hand.
Now she’s standing there, dazed and barefoot, still convinced she’s totally in control.
Guess he really did get in her head. 😵💫👣
