I think because Batman doesn’t wanna cross the line either. Next thing you know, hes also a villain. Lol. I remember the entire justice league making a decision to send Doomsday to Phantom Zone and voted on it. Its a lot if power to single handedly be the judge AND the executioner. His logic is flawed but almost everything is lol. That being said. I also like Punisher for killing the scum lol. I appreciate the different perspectives the heroes bring but Batman’s is definitely understandable On one hand he lost his family to a murderer and doesn’t wanna become a murderer himself Or he could kill the murderers so more people don’t have murdered families but he would become the very monster he is trying to put down although by our logic we would say no he’s better than those monsters because he kills monsters

Although I still like Batman, I think his philosophy is flawed because repeatedly locking villains away just so they can escape and cause more damage is not it. Some criminals just need to be put in body bags!!! Its not like Vigilante is going around killing every criminal. He is choosing those who have committed heinous crimes and have gotten away with minimal repercussions. I can't speak for everyone but if you can't help you urges and are a serial killer than please at least do some public service and be Dexter don't become Joe Goldberg lmfao.
