Regarding Jinshi and "crossing lines", you have to remember that Jinshi has been locked away all his life and has had little to no interaction with other people other than his attendants. Much like MaoMao, he is also very ignorant when it comes to human interaction. He is only just now venturing out into the world by masquerading as "Jinshi". So he too does not know when he may be taking something too far, and only finds out after the fact. I think that's what makes MaoMao/Jinshi so interesting because despite having completely different backgrounds and stations in the world, they still have so many similarities as well.

He's seen plenty of her other expressions including the "Lakan Death Stare." Maybe he should propose with a rare medicine for her and Lakan's head on a plate. XD

Like heβs too shy to even call her by her name no way is he forcing himself on her id say the absolute most he does is kiss her and see her reaction to it but it do look bad for him in the moment
