I mean I don't really get why people always seem to default to linear time in isekai settings... since they have magic etc, they can't by very definition be within our universe, due to the universe's Laws of Physics making that impossible. Ergo they are by definition in some other universe with different (yet baseline similar) Laws of Physics that do permit shit like immortality, magic etc to exist. And different universes would probably obviously have different time streams so to speak, because they are not really connected metaphysically speaking

So many translation errors in the official sub. The name is supposed to be "Root", since Root is the spawn platform for all the greater dragons basically. Also when Root says danna-sama, while yes it can mean master, in this context it's clearly meant to be translated as "husband"...

The explanation from Luto, combined with Eva actually knowing about the history of Makoto's parents, basically shows that there's no linear connection between the two worlds.
His parents came to Japan, then had their kids in Japan, with Makoto going to the world of the goddess roughly 20 years later. Those 20 years before the current story are roughly the timeframe where it would make sense for "adventurer guilds" and "levels" to have first become popular in video games and other media. (First rise of the big MMORPGs, basically.)
If the time progression were linear, that would mean Makoto's parents entered Japan at roughly the same time as Luto's first husband was isekai-ed. This doesn't work, though, because it would be nonsensical for Eva to recognize Makoto's parents, if all they were was a "regular" noble and a high-ranking (but not highest-ranking) priestess.
So we can assume that Makoto's parents were in the Goddess' world probably less than 100 years before the current timeline - that would make it reasonable to be aware of their existence.
A linear timeline now wouldn't make sense on the other end, though, because them spending 20 years in Japan before Makoto gets isekai-ed would require Luto's husband to have played video games in the 1800's in Japan.
With both of these contradictions, we can see that the time difference between these two worlds is pretty much "timey-wimey-stuff" that's intentionally paradoxical and difficult to determine. Could be that going from 2023 to 2024 equals 10 years in the world of the goddess, but going from 2024 to 2025 equals 5 days.
Since Makoto didn't understand the explanation, we have no way of knowing whether traveling to the past could also be an actual possibility. In an extreme case, it could be that going on March 5th puts you in year "1000" for the Goddess world, but going on March 6th puts you in year "800".
Lots of possibilities, intentionally left vague in order to give it some mysticism and because it's realistic to not have all the information, since we follow the story from Makoto's point of view.

See what I got out of that was at this point in time he has the mana to go back but it would be a random time so once he got strong enough he could go back to any point in time and then he could come back to this world at any point in time at least that's what I understand from that unless I'm reading it wrong and hearing it wrong

I would make housing and food free while give priority to education and research in the world. I would look into wealth difference in the world, it doesn't make sense a CEO earning some workers year's worth of salary in few minutes....Is he working 10500 more than that worker? (assuming he get that in 5mins)... ok moving on,
yeah, I would make it so we would focus more on learning/educating than focusing on money and how to get a meal on the table. Like in Star Trek universe, it won't be perfect but better IMO.

26:05 - Lee, you talk about the concept of traveling between worlds to be cool. Funnily enough there is an isekai with that very concept called "Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for My Retirement OR Rougo ni Sonaete Isekai de 8-manmai no Kinka wo Tamemasu". The title explains the concept. I found it pretty entertaining with the main character bring basic stuff to the medieval era and being thought of as a witch or herald of a god
