I think it's being missed that Shi Ho doesn't even really love JJH. At least's that how I see it. Her life is falling apart. She left him to go to that sports training school and then couldn't hack it. He just represents the last time her life felt "good" and she was on top! I think she sees him as a possession and something that represents her status. I haven't watched this drama in a while and this could all be argued, but this is my sense of things at ep.7

Sure they are young but not in their teens. I dont think shiho and bok joo are mildly comparable in their moral standing. I understand where adorkable is coming from but I think as a girl myself adorkable probably feels a lil called out in the end talk xD it's okay to sit with our past mistakes. At this point I do think shiho is terrible but that doesn't mean she can't grow and mature.

2025-03-17 09:45:37 +0000 UTCWhen I first watched WFKBJ I hated Siho but, now that I am in my 30's I feel pity for her more than hate. what she did was wrong but she not a bad or evil person like the typical "villian." she's in a sport she no longer feels passion for, her parents are fighting over her, and the boy she loves doesn't want her anymore. Add on the fact she's not eating great and she's so stressed from not performing well, no wonder she's acting crazy.

She knows what weightlifting entails and as a fellow athlete she knows how important things like weight means to your coach. She is absolutely at fault for what happened to Bok Joo. If anything her reasoning was if she was too caught up in her troubles she wouldn't be in her way. But she absolutely did that to hurt her. She did a mean, petty, and bad thing and I think that's okay to admit. The one thing good about her character is at least she owns up to it.
