Also started and never finished Breaking Bad (was supposed to continue with a relative and then they watched the rest without me), but yeah, some stuff is too intense to just be watching solo just for vibes. The map was provided by the guy when he offered tours. /Not/ everyone has maps. . We have no real idea what Helly’s personality is like on the outside (only following Mark and Ms. Selvig), but if she was strongly “with” the program then why did she have to be lied to about why she was in the stairwell? High confidence she got deepfaked using audio samples from the break room. Several hours of audio and inflection to base her speech on, as well as address prior ‘concerns.’ . The way Selvig said /that’s/ Petey implies to me that the chip has /stored/ the severed innie (or outie?) of Petey into itself, and that was her ‘saving’ their property. It’s known that he was at Lumon and had the severance procedure, but unless they’ve been lying the whole time about the technicalities of it, they should have been able to just get it back from the coroner. Them being chipped /and/ reversible is of some importance.

2025-02-15 18:22:30 +0000 UTCI love how everyone’s first impression of the severance procedure is “oh? This is neat, I don’t have to work anymore”. But by this episode everyone fully transitioned to: “This is fucked up/scary/torture”
