Query about a small TGTF thing I wanna do!
Added 2024-12-19 06:18:05 +0000 UTCA few days ago I got an idea it might be cool to experiment with text-based CYOAs, especially to do some kind of sequel to HAVE SOME CLASS, HERO (remember that?) I was recommended by a lot of folks to look up Twine! I started tweaking around with it and I'm thinking I wanna do a very small "test run" TGTF CYOA soon (probably in my spare time in between other projects)
Anyone got any suggestions for a theme to run for it? I don't want it to be giant right off the bat, but oooooh so many ideas and I wanna try something that at least has a few different TG/TF outcomes, just to see how it'd be like to structure it! I'd also love to share the finished product with yall when it's done!

2024-12-19 15:43:16 +0000 UTCPerhaps a mag-lab so you can go tech or fantasy route? Either way highly recommend making flowcharts in a document or by hand to track what decisions actually do it makes programming in Twine soooo much easier.

2024-12-19 15:13:08 +0000 UTCWhile I dont have much experience (i mean i know some programming but not really to much) with this or ideas about the TF, I do know that a CYOA is probably one of the easiest projects to expand upon from a base amount. Even if you start with just a handful of choices, it shouldn't be too difficult to add more as new Tf idea come to mind... so maybe thats a Good Idea? Just Cosmo dont put to much on your Plate again i know how much you seem to like to do that...
