Alright, this is gonna need some context: as some of yall may know, I work as an editor/videographer for a web content studio as my day job. I'm not particularly proud of the reality show-style content we produce and am looking for better opportunities. Recently, however, a popular Youtuber who I've been following for a while recently announced they were looking to hire a new video editor, and I thought "hey, that looks fun! I should apply for it and see how it goes!"

I was readying up my portfolio, but then I realized that I don't have a lot of content made with streaming/gaming in mind, and so I figured I'd wanna add in a proof of concept video to prove I can work within their "dialect" of editing for gameplay. I decided to base it around footage unrelated to the creator and instead on two different gamers, Slowbeef and Diabetus (remember Retsupurae? ahhhh good ol' days). They did several streams of the game A Way Out a few years ago and released the unedited vods on Youtube and I wanted to edit it down to a highlights vid in the modern style of editing I thought would be fitting.

It was way more fun and hilarious than I expected. So uh... yeah, I think yall should see this.

Currently keeping the video unlisted just because it's really not like my usual content like animations and stuff lol, but if yall are curious, you can check it out. If I do end up getting word back on if my application was successful, I'll let yall know haha
