Checkup on the next cycle of Creator Crownie coms!
Added 2023-05-06 16:00:05 +0000 UTCHiya, if you're reading this, thank you so much for your continued support and patience regarding these monthly panels! As we approach the end of this current wave of Creator Crownie rewards, I would like to check in with a few things for these rewards going forward!
First things first! Fundamentally, the reward/arrangements will stay the same; prices stay as they are, 6 panels over a 6-month period will remain, yaaaaaaay. The primary concern I wanna check up on is scope -- this cycle got way more ambitious than the last one because I wanted to cram in more detail, but combined with doubling the amount of tier slots from 5 to 10, this consequently resulted in me missing more end-of-month deadlines, and truthfully, I feel terrible about it. I was admittedly going into this being unsure how well I'd handle this workload, and your patience and understanding has been a true blessing and I once again thank you so much for your generosity, but I'd much prefer to be professional and reach a more consistent, reasonable standard. Especially as I'm soon to kickstart "Friends on Another Side" very soon, I worry that this practice may not be sustainable with the way things are now.
What I'm specifically noticing is taking up more time is cheating on what counts as a "panel per month". This wave has had FAR more "sub-panel" pages to present more poses and mini-sequences showing detailed transformations, which does a lot for content, but while I want to be as faithful to your prompts and ideas as possible to depict the thrills and detail I think yall would be happy with, I think this current approach isn't efficient. Rather than working harder to draw more poses and detail, I should be working smarter in drawing BETTER poses and being more judicious in depicting the process.
So for the next cycle, I'm going to be a lot more careful in what I capture per panel, and that subsequently means less poses. I still will be doing pages with sub-panels if necessary (primarily for establishing/scenery shots, those are usually less cumbersome to deal with), but just note if you intend on sticking around for the next cycle to expect panels looking slightly less dense.
Examples of what to expect:

I'm still super committed to doing my best to bring your sequence ideas to life the best way that I can, so if you're worried that perhaps your idea may be too ambitious or require too much of my time and attention, don't worry! I'll be available to chat things out and script things in a way that preserves your idea to the best of my ability :D

Now let's move onto just the management bits for the transition to the next cycle of these coms.
If you wish to stay aboard for another cycle, awesome! Just stay where you are! Not only will you be receiving your final panel by the end of this month, I'll be up to discussing the next sequence with you soon!
If you wish to discontinue and vacate your tier slot for whatever reason, first of all, thank you very much for your support over the last 6 months, it's been so much fun working on your sequences, and I hope you continue to stick around in other means :D Secondly, since your final payment for the month should already have been locked in, please let me know your intent to leave, and then vacate your slot BEFORE MAY 15TH. I will be publicly announcing that the slots are open for the next cycle on the 15th for early-birds to get on board for next month (this is a high-demand tier, haha) and this arrangement will really help smooth out the transition. You will still receive your final panel at the end of the month.
Once again, thank you so much for your support, I couldn't have done this without you, and I look forward to seeing how this next cycle goes!
