An Update

Hey, guys. So I've been thinking about trying a bit of an experiment this month and maybe releasing a partial release by the end of the month. Instead of my usual massive multi-month updates, I'd see what I can get done before the end of the month so I can have a more regular release schedule. The positives to this is content for you guys much more frequently and I'll feel a bit less overwhelmed since the project won't be this monstrously large thing looming over me like the sword of damocles...

So I was wondering, would patrons be interested if I started doing a monthly raffle where each month a patron selected at random would get a free custom render. This would be open to all patron tiers including $1.

For those who played it...

I'm curious which stories you liked the best. If you'd like to explain why, please feel free to comment below too. This will help me figure out a few things and ideas I have going forward with some of the future content.

The Update Has Been Released

It's out on all paid content tiers (Street Rat, Servant, Warrior, Sultan, Exile). If you decide to become a Patron, keep in mind that Apple now charges an extra 30% on top of regular fees for patreon for in-app purchases, so I probably wouldn't use that.

Test Version Out!

The test version has been uploaded and is currently being tested out by my beta testers. Once they give me the all clear (and I fix whatever issues they run into) it’ll be ready to release!

Status Update: Pausing April Pledges.

Hey everybody. I was supposed to release the update in the next few days but I wasn't able to prioritize working on the game all that much this month. Seeing as so many of you were anticipating the release and I don't think it would be fair to you, I'm going to pause April pledges, meaning CURRENT PATRONS WILL NOT be charged for the month of April. Furthermore I'm gonna maybe cut back a little on some IRL job stuff in April so I can focus more on the game.

Backing up

Currently in the process of backing up all my data for the failing daz drives onto a storage drive. A lot of content so it’s taking days. Have a new 12 tb drive being shipped to me this week to replace the dying ones. Will probably have to reinstall daz and all my assets on the new drive and check to make sure all my models etc still function properly. Not looking forward to that. And of course waiting for the new card to arrive and see if it gives the graphical errors.

Something is really wrong.

Since apparently the universe loves kicking me while I'm down, this bullshit is happening with my daz installation right now. There's a few things that could be happening here. At least I think. First I haven't screwed around with adjusting my daz settings or anything like that, but now every character comes out like the images you see here. I haven't installed any new hardware or assets either.

Payment Pause for August

Hey guys. Obviously, based on my last post I've got some personal life things I need to take care of. I'm probably gonna travel to say my goodbyes to my terminally ill family member. With that in mind I'm going to pause August billing so my current patrons don't get charged since I haven't been able to dedicate enough time to working on the game due to this. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Update on the Update!

Hello to all my long-suffering patrons! The light at the end of the tunnel is getting closer! I'm anticipating a late june/early july release for the update! As it gets closer I'll be asking you guys if any of you would like to volunteer for testing (probably with specific gameplay paths to test out.) I'll make a more formal post around that time for those of you who would like to test it out!

Update News - Pausing Pledges Again

Hey everybody. Seeing as I haven't had too much time to work on the update this month as I'd have like to, I'm going to again pause pledges for the coming month (March) for all currently active pledges. Meaning if you're a patron already and haven't canceled, you will not be charged for March. I don't feel like it would be fair to charge you when I wasn't able to release this month as planned.
