Also, AOT wasn't realistic at all, so again, if you liked watching it, you'll like watching Alice in Borderland. Otherwise, it does not make sense to use these notions as a justification for not liking Alice in Borderland.

It will blur the lines between reality and illusion, it will be soooo trippy and intellectually stimulating. The games here are 1000 times harder than in Squid Game, only the best of the best survive. I love how this show makes you feel like you're part of the games, you will be questioning other players and even main characters. The plot twists will be insane. This show is definitely better than Squid Game and deserves more hype!

I don't think Squid game is the best show to me personally, Squid Game is lowkey overrated but compared to Alice in Wonderland, its more logical and what I could see it happens meanwhile this show is straight up science fiction. The execution is amazing but the game seems way illogical. Its still enjoyable to watch tho.

And Seb, I just finally finished season 2 after attempting the show a second time. I originally stopped watching for other reasons, iykyk - but I will say if you power through to the end, there are some really enjoyable characters and the explanations will be satisfying.

It would be incredibly expensive to shut down that intersection and almost impossible bc of how much people and traffic there is at any given time. You can see how much detail they put into this show to make it as realistic as possible and one of the reasons why it's one of my favorites.

You're going to meet a couple more characters that are similar to those from the Wonderland world, but that doesn't mean the character type is limited to one person. For example, in season 2, there are two characters that represent a cheshire cat in the SAME episode. That also doesn't mean that the character types are always going to be vague, though! Some of them are literally in their name (I'll explain further in later episodes when those characters are introduced), while some of them are based on personality!

Also, when seb mentioned the lack of realism like how there's suddenly no people and there's seemingly no end to the games or real motive, the closest comparison I can think of is Maze Runner. You'll obviously find out the reason eventually, but at the beginning they show up in the maze one by one with no purpose (in their eyes). I also think this is a great time for y'all to start watching this because season 3 is literally almost out and then that would be a first watch for all three of you. love the transparency with this reaction!
