0.11 Release Date / Future Roadmap

Hello, everyone!

Thank you all so much for your support, especially given the delays. Coding an entire dungeon system into Ren'Py was much more of a challenge than I originally anticipated, but I'm happy to report that it is now fully working!

So, with that in mind, I still have some writing to do. To finish said writing and to implement all of it, I'm setting Update 0.11's release date to July 21st.

Touching Base + New Art

Hello everyone! I just wanted to touch base and give some info about what's coming in the future.

First off, I apologize for the delays. My real life is continually hectic and I'm embarrassed that it's been pushing Orveia to a halt like this. I really do appreciate the continued support and I want you to know that your contributions have still blessed us with more of Boarred's art :P. Quick update

Hi guys! Hope you're all having a good day.

I have a bit of "meh" news, being that the next update will be delayed until Oct 1st. (~2 week delay). Boarred and I are both swamped right now, and with my recent move to the new apartment, it set things back even more on my end.

I really don't want to half-ass or rush out content, which would definitely be the case if not for the delay. I think it's a healthier step for both myself and the game.

[UPDATE] Orveia 0.4

0.4 is here! This update features a huge rework to the battle system, a new CG featuring Rohan, our first patreon-exclusive item, and much more! Boar and I worked extremely hard on this, and we even have some new guest-writer content. Let me know what you guys think of it!

Battle Preview (Playable)

I've reworked the battle system in a few ways:

 - Skills. You can now choose how to attack. Enemies will now have weakness and/or resistance to a weapon type. They also have a "dominance" level, and using complementary skills will deal bonus damage (i.e. using submissive skills against a more dominant enemy and vice versa)

Orveia 0.3 Release

Orveia 0.2 Release

Hey, hope you guys are having a good day!

So, the original plan was to finish and release 0.2 Public and 0.3 Patreon simultaneously. Unfortunately, I hit a bit of a snag on 0.3 and it's a bit delayed. It should only be another couple of days, but per some discussion on Discord, I've decided to silently drop 0.2 for Patrons so that you guys can play it now.

The two builds have a collective 60k words between them (30k per), on top of some new systems being introduced. Thank you guys...

He's a short, perpetually annoyed horse with a temper problem. He's also one of the head Outlaws. You'll need to put up with him to figure out what they're up to. 👀

Here's a little sneak peek of the upcoming NSFW scene. 👀

You guys have spoken! With a close 60% majority, Finn is the first guy to receive an NSFW scene. It will be two full art pieces, CG-style, with four stages.

It will be available in build 0.3, which should drop around June 5th!

Asking for opinions

I'm thinking of doing something exciting when 0.2/0.3 drops to thank you guys for all the support. 

For example: Letting a random patron help design a future character. Maybe a YCH x Character-of-choice commission?
