Liquids V2 is here! I improved the performance and shading of them significantly supporting even more shaderpacks and a higher particle count. It is still in a testing phase (by destroying enchanting tables you can spawn a liquid source) but my plan is to replace flowing water of Minecraft with this version at one point in the future. I've also reworked the smoke system with this update and it can now be simulated on the GPU too. The video showcases the GPU Liquids with the Solas Shaderpack 2.7b.
