Chapter 4 Partial Release Poll
Added 2023-03-18 19:01:00 +0000 UTCChapter 4 is turning out to be a bigger chapter than we anticipated. The branching storylines would need more time to develop and test. As such, we are thinking of doing a partial release for Chapter 4, which will have about 50% of the planned content. It stops before returning to Alfheimr and reuniting with your LIs. But you will get to meet the new NPCs in the Huldrer's Peak and Alfheimr. Let me know what are your thoughts?

Personal opinion partial release and the people that want to wait can wait for all of it to be released.

2023-03-19 21:27:41 +0000 UTCI'm kind of two minds. As the two parts were conceived as one, sticking to the original vision is probably a good idea. On the other hand, I also like the idea of the two separate parts, but more because it kind of makes sense than to get the material earlier. In fact, they seem two rather independent parts, and in addition it would give a better impression that you've been away from Alfheimr for quite a lot of time, whereas if you publish them together you will have less that effect. If they were two separate parts I would feel more longing to go back because there is an actual temporal separation in real life, if it makes sense. Also, if both parts are meaty enough separately, I don't mind to have more bite-sized chapters (or semi-chapters) to digest.

2023-03-18 22:11:35 +0000 UTCI personally wouldn't mind if the less patient supporters were allowed earlier access but I would rather opt for the entire chapter to be officially released. Given how limited spare time is these days, it would suit full immersion more sufficiently to experience the story chapterwise. In general the story is offering so much potential so far, that minor deviations from the original timetable are the lesser bad. You have created so much in so few months(on the front at least) that I'm still amazed of the current results. People realize the quality and passion you as a team invested and therefore we appreciate all your efforts so tremendously! Stay true to your vision!
