When I open 1.14 there's no more enter key option, only a play button? How do I put in the entertainer code now? I can only load built in scenes now.

Yeah, this is very frustrating - all of the hair I've done previously is now messed up and in "slow motion" basically. That's unless I turn friction down, but then that totally screws up the motion. Nothing fixes it. I had it functioning perfectly in the previous version and now it's horrible. It's not nearly as realistic, the friction setting messes up everything. Going to have to revert to the previous version I guess, this depresses me.

which clothes aside from the new ones have had physics added?

I'm having a hard time getting the hair to react realistically in this version. My old saves don't react properly, and I can't get the options to work like they used to. Maybe it's the friction option? Even turning it all the way down doesn't work, it just doesn't flow/react realistically anymore.

i installed it on a clean 1.13.0.1 version and the 1.13.0.2 patch is done okay

im having problems with the 1.14 pathch download, it freeze at the middle of the download and then the updater closes, when i reopen it make the same thing again

The developer has said in the past that he's reluctant to start using solutions tailored to specific hardware brands. What happens to AMD users if he starts using NvidiaVR? He'd end up having to maintain multiple parallel systems, with each new feature being implemented on each of them. This would slow program development significantly. Big budget programs developed by large teams can afford to put this kind of time and effort into maximizing performance, but VaM is the work of one guy, working balls out. At this point, it's just not a viable option.

Just want to say that I love this program and you are doing great work in making it. I was wondering have you considered employing nvidiaVR SLI api's in the back end to improve performance. It might be a little late in the development to incorporate it and I know it is a bit niche.,but it would help for larger more complicated scenes. Again great work.

The interactable clothes are under the clothing options. They are the ones with "sim" added to them. In the options of the sim clothes you can also check "undress" to activate the undressing. ;)

can you supply a link to the full download. The 1.14 updater is crashing on me (stuck halfway through an old update (probably version 1.12) and now crashes out 1-2 seconds after launching)

It's possible your antivirus is getting a false positive and blocking it. The download is a zip file containing the updater and a config file. You might try turning your antivirus off and trying again.

The "release notes" document covers releases all the way back to version 1.12. The 5 new female skins were added in 1.13.

Is it normal for the female skins to go only up to "female 15" (including custom and dummy) despite the last update saying 5 new female skins were added? Or am I missing something?

Uncheck "navigate lock height" right there in the main menu, just below the toolbar. You probably checked it by mistake at some point. I've done that.

I'm no longer able to drag myself up and down through the world, now it goes by your head height. I don't see any other way of controlling my height

Also, can't find the point light shadow bias controls (unless it's on by default), but I'm really glad it's being looked into. Edit: I found the settings for individually lights and messed with all the settings including map resolution and it didn't fix the nose/eye shadow issues for me unfortunately. The nostrils in particular just seem unwilling to have shadows inside. Eyes still have that kind of "bug eyed" look without shadows specifically beneath the eyelids (regardless of position or setting) but this does help slightly. Still praying for a fix! Good improvements regardless - thanks

Have you tried the zip above? It can also do a full download and install if you unzip the file into new folder and run VaM_Updater.exe.

If you don't copy in the new config file in the zip, it would not update to 1.14.0.0. You can try extracting the contents of zip to a new directory and this will do a clean install.

You'll be fine, Not everything that an AV detects is a virus. If its something new or open sourced (like the patcher) it'll have a file or line of code the AV doesn't recognize and saids it's a virus. My Malware scanner tells me my game trainers (cheat engine stuff) are "risk-ware viruses" when they are not anything at all. So, AV's uses an AI to detect viruses based on behavior and what not that a virus can show, but a file was identified by the AI, thus given a meaningless name and providing no information about what the behaviors are and thus it's a false positive.
