1.11 Release Zip Download

Hi! Great job on this project. There relky isnt anything else out there that compares. I was a patron up until 1.11, but somehow the download got messed up. I redownloaded, but the key provided would not work. Since then, due to circumtanse, I had to end my Patronage. In doing so, I have no way to activate the Creator version for 1.11. Is it possible I get get a key for this? Thinks, and keep up the great work!

1.12 should hopefully be out late today. Making last fixes for the UI overhaul.

It didnt download for me using the "direct download" link many times.. like 3 times it failed the download. Even the auto installer ended up not loading the game. But in the end the Mega link s the one that worked well, so use that one.

Just wondering, since im using an Oculus, it opens up using the oculus api, but I also use a Kinect2VR for simulate vive trackers in SteamVR, is there any way to force it to use steamvr on the oculus so i can test out the trackers before i pledge?

Hey Mesh.. when will we be able to scroll the atom select menu? With a large complex screen its like impossible to see a long list of items to select what I need in desktop mode. Currently I have to scale down the menu to where I cant read the items on the list and prey I select the right one. We need to be able to scroll the list like we can when selecting a scene or look.

Hey Meshed, i've been thinking, if you want to expand this program's tools, capability, and usage, an INSANE idea would to maybe have a way for animators to use your tool to somehow animate characters with the simulated "effects" and then BRING IT BACK into DAZ3D with all the animated bones and info intact so that you have simulated soft body physics in DAZ3D animations. I personally do a lot of 3D render work and this sounds like something the DAZ community has begged for since the dawn of time, if you take advantage of that market somehow, your patreon would definitely blow up. Added on top of that, with 3rd party plugins for your game that support full body motion capture in VR, you could literally make a home MOCAP studio with your program. Also is it possible to maybe get a graphical improvement for this game in the future? because my main problem with VAM right now is that it looks nowhere near as good as other VR unity games like "togheter VR": <a href="https://store.steampowered.com/app/771920/TOGETHER_VR/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://store.steampowered.com/app/771920/TOGETHER_VR/</a> even if it isnt possible to have this level of graphical lighting detail in VR mode, could you possibly do it for the desktop mod, because honestly I think most people have found themselves using your game in desktop mode more often than with the headset on.

Glad to be a patron and get creator key. This is the funnest creation content to work with and really is somewhat intuitive to work with once permissions are understood. Using WMR Odyssey headset and controllers and controls work very well. Keep up the outstanding work!

noob question but.. do i need all the old version before taking new one ? i mean can i update directly jumping some version ? or its mandatory to update each version 1 by 1 ? ... ( to know if i can jump or if i need all of them. just because Mega broke all time with the size XD )

Huhu Meshed, i would like to ask if its possible to add an extra atom for a vive tracker. I got two for my feet and one for hip, but the atoms are inside the bodys so the body will make weird movements.

This doesn't work with Unity Personal, does it. :-( After five hours of fighting with it, I finally managed to get it to create *something* - but it was in four separate files, none of them having the 'assetbundle' extension. The version of Unity that I am using is 5.4.5p5. {sigh}

Is there a tutorial somewhere about how to get a Daz asset or scene into VaM? Do you have to bring it into Unity first? I do not understand Unity... :-(

You have to use a version of Unity that is 2018.1.9f1 or earlier to make the assetbundle as that is what VaM uses.

Hey meshed, So I have been trying to import a community model that I have made and I'm having a lot of problems. I've tried several different tutorials on how to export an "assetbundle" file in unity (2018.2) and none of them have worked. The closest I've gotten is having a file made from a script, labeled what I labeled the asset bundle but when I place it into the folder with the car asset bundle in VAM and load up the game, the file doesn't appear when I look in the folder with the car asset bundle. The 3d model I'm using is a blender file. May I ask, how did you create the asset bundle for the car, and what am I doing wrong? Thanks (And btw I love the game and all the hard work and dedication you've put into it, Keep it up!)

One way to know is to run VaM_Updater, and then click Patch Notes, that will only show the notes up to the version you have in that directory.

Im just gonna mention steam a second time, as im now aware of a full on explicit adult content checkbox in store preferences, and even more options for adult content soon. I keep locking up at "Paused - Waiting For: Scene Load"? Am I doing something incorrectly? Free content 1.9 worked fine for me, deleted that content paid for "entertainer" downloaded 1.11 and keeps getting locked?

Is there a way to stop the desktop preview window? So that you can launch and play the game completely at the privacy of the VR Headset?

The Direct link doesn't work - after downloading 6,684,992KB chrome says "network error", and the resulting file "*.crdownload" is not a valid zip archive - tried 2 times.

I thought my AV might not conflict so I tried the VAM_Installer.exe from the previous version and it acted like it installed the 1.11 version and gave no errors during the process. I then ran VaM and got the feeling that 1.11 didn't install even though it indicated that it did because I couldn't find any 1.11 built-in scenes of the VAC file online browser feature anywhere at the app. I then decided to download the whole app again from the direct link. I've now tried the whole download several times and it gets over 90% downloaded then fails every time. Edit: Finally got the whole release zip downloaded and it's working now! I love the package download feature! I hope everyone starts using it!

I have a problem with the "animationstep" which have an acceleration and a deceleration at the arrival and at the start of each "animationstep" can you add (1.) a parameter that activates or deactivates acceleration and deceleration and can you also add (2.) the option of pausing (adjustable) each "animationstep" and also (3.) the option of deleted curves that makes between each "animationstep" that are unmanageable .... (make lines straight) and (4.) the option to make a copy of a group of "animationstep" selected ..... and (5.) add the option to make "animationstep" linear and not circular..... You would have to create installer that sets executable to run with limited privileges, then AV would be more happy. You may look for example at: <a href="http://wixtoolset.org/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://wixtoolset.org/</a>

Of course most regular users should be aware that the more extensions you use, the more at risk you are. Browsers are secure. It's the crap you add into it that makes it NOT secure. :)

Would like to add that THE CHROME MEGA PLUGIN IS HIJACKED and should be removed asap!!! It phishes for passwords and usernames from all the big sites. Google it if you dont belive. This to some extend is true, but as more and more of them start saying the same thing its hard to tell where too draw the line between it being a false positive and it being an actual positive. F*ck whoever submitted it as harmfull file to prevent ppl downloading it though, that was quite uncalled for.

Thanks for the zip, as much as i like the ease of use of an installer those false positives where stacking up and giving me the creeps ^^ Something you might want to think about for the near future, use steam? just a 1 time fee of 100 bucks (per game/program) and you get full access to (your apps space on) their cdn, and you can then easily push updates, fork branches as you work out bugs with specific users, etc. Just a thought, while typing this i also realize theres people that dont want their friends to know they play vam, hmm. You can hide apps on steam aswell though, make it look like they play codename gordon (some free title also for testing steam api on etc) or whatever ^^

Updater is staying. It is the top level VaM_Installer.exe that is probably going. But direct download will be option for major release (not patches) in case there are issues.

Sad to see the Updater go and I hope it makes a return at some point when you find either a way for it to not trigger the virus warnings or with some other updater/installer either way thanks for your efforts :)

F*ck antiviruses. We know they like to tag a lot of stuff as 'generic malware' just to boast the number of detected malware.

The latest version updated to latest VAM for me fine yesterday. I had awful trouble with previous version of installer crashing. But this didn’t give any trouble. Think it went through about 5 patch updates.

Awww, I love the installer and updater. Yeah, anything made by someone who doesn't pay Microsoft thousands of dollars for signing rights or whatever crap they're doing pops up saying "This software isn't signed, this software might be malicious" ... this isn't anything new, and considering the massive community around this software and how long it has been in existence, I can't imagine why anyone wouldn't trust the files you're providing us. It will be a real shame if we lose all these benefits you've worked so hard to provide because a few uneducated people are yelling that the sky is falling when they get a little warning.
