Brief Notes on Future Collaboration

Hi everyone,

I know my posts have been a little bit all over the place in terms of working on the video with Cali, and then the two different, more recent videos with Lauren. However, one of the reasons why I have pushed one of the videos with Lauren to the front (over finishing the video with Cali first) is because I wanted to make sure I would be ready for the editing process once I receive the SFX edits from my collaborator. For now, I will keep that person's identity a secret (because I do not believe they have shared anything about it yet), but as soon as I have something to show, you will all be the first to see/know about it!

The main premise of the video is that Lauren is preparing to meet a date at her apartment, but the man she has been talking with has been lying about his size. On his way over, they get into a bit of an argument via text once he fesses up and she realizes he is not joking. He calls her shallow after she tells him he shouldn't bother coming over. The video then flashes to Lauren getting out of her date clothes, and putting on something more comfortable. However, the tiny man is now inside her apartment, unbeknownst to Lauren. The tiny man quickly realizes he is in over his head, and fearing for his life, he tries to call Lauren to get her attention. She ignores it at first, but upon his persistence, eventually picks up the phone. Noticing him on the floor and feeling violated, Lauren promptly steps on him.

Lauren had a big part of the plot in this one, and I wish I had done a better job bringing it to life. Unfortunately, we had to change the shooting location last minute due to a scheduling conflict, so the setup was not conducive to the original story idea. Thus, we had to improvise a bit, and the video suffered from it. Still, I tried to resist my urge to throw it out entirely, and I am happy I was able to salvage something at least.

Also, school has been intense lately, so I apologize for the lack of posts!
