bangles are a type of bracelet (they’re rigid, think of a cuff style of bracelet rather than a chain). I’m nigerian so ik we say bangles when we need to be specific, and ik Indian ppl also differentiate between bangles and bracelets bc jewelry is so heavily part of their cultural attire
