Also this whole party was themed like a doljanchi (first birthday celebration), and Jihyo re-did the doljabi, which is a first birthday tradition in Korea where the baby chooses an object that is said to predict their future. Typically they place the baby on the ground in front of several objects and let them crawl towards whatever they want. Obviously as an adult Jihyo would have consciousness so they can't just have her crawl so she blind chose, but its funny that she chose the thread as a baby as well as at this fake doljabi

Sejeong was also in IOI and Nayoung nearly made IOI, on P101 she placed 14 (11 made it). Sejeong and Nayoung were also in gugudan SEMINA, a subunit with SEjeong, MIna (also an IOI member and an actress in shows like Cafe Minamdang and Hotel Del Luna), and NAyoung. Seriously, PLEASE, I BEG YOU, find some time to do one of your 4-part throwback (god i feel old) reactions to gugudan stuff as well as Sejeong's solo work, which is incredible. Door was my 2023 album of the year. You will also get to know Sejeong as the lead in our upcoming drama pick, Business Proposal, so it would be a great time to do that! For gugudan I would recommend A Girl Like Me, The Boots, Not That Type, and Semina. For Sejeong I would recommend Flower Way, Plant, Warning, and Top or Cliff (the mv for Top or Cliff is actually insane). Flower Way was written by Zico as her first song while she was still in gugudan. It is about her mother and how she wants to provide a flower road for her to walk down in her old age (a common saying, basically make an easy path). It makes me cry every time and will absolutely be the song I dance to with my mother at my wedding. Sejeong grew up in a rural area with a single mother and was frequently on food assistance. She is genuinely one of the kindest, most humble, and hardest working idols to ever go through the industry and one of the most deserving of the literal meaning of an "idol". Everyone should aspire to be somewhat like her. There's some great content of her and Jihyo going out to her mom's house (that she has put money into renovating/adding onto) and having fun almost like kids lol, raiding her mom's medicinal wine jars and singing in the add-on karaoke room that Sejeong's mom asked her for.
