2024-09-04 03:32:38 +0000 UTCAssemble was the first "full group" release that the group plans to do once a year and at the time of the announcement the group only had 9 members going on 10. Kaede (S9) was still fairly new and Dahyun (S10) was very close to being revealed. I think originally they planned to have Krystal Eyes debut before this release but due to some time constraints they decided to wait until after this promotion to have the unit debut.
