I would go as far as to say most of Taemin's b-sides are slow to midtempo. He really has some beautiful (and strange) vcrs. It's amazing how he can dance something contemporary like this when he auditioned with popping! The Beyond Live was a month before he enlisted.

2021-10-18 19:35:30 +0000 UTCthank you for giving us these blocked reactions RJ! i'm glad you enjoyed it ☺ Under my skin is such a powerful song, the melody and the lyrics are beautiful but heartbreaking. he wrote the lyrics in korean and the lyricist translated it into japanese. there is this very emotional live version https://youtu.be/H87aMG_1gwY and from this performance you can tell how meaningful and personal this is for him, It feels like he deliveres his heart by singing these lyrics, like he really wanted to tell us his story through this. people tend to overlook his ballads, and I myself don't usually fancy ballad songs that much, I find half of them boring, but his ballads are never disappoint. he has many great ones in his albums. I think my favorites are Clockwork, Pansy, Love, Back to you, I think it’s love, Rise, Monologue - these are really beautiful ones. I'd highly recommend you to check them out someday, maybe on your own time, not for the reaction. as well as his albums bc he has a lot of really good songs without MVs or live stages (like the majority of songs from NGDA albums or the whole Advice album).
