Yes, these first few panels are supposed to be a bit unsettling for the sake of contrast later on. Part of the magic that comes with working with SteveBasic on this :)

2020-12-24 19:03:33 +0000 UTCI mean I have a lot of issues with this panel particularly but you're probably supposed to. Will be pretty great when the roles reverse.
