Actually, the imminent release of the Slugblaster review makes me particularly happy. For MONTHS you folks have been trying to guess what the final review of Season 1 might be, and you knew it was a game that I found uniquely impressive, but not one of you suggested Slugblaster!
As a critic, it's great to know you can surprise your audience, and also that you can still be surprised. That's Slugblaster all over. I'm positive that you guys are gonna love the interview, and the review, and the game.

I just finished my slugblaster campaign two days ago and man, what a wonderful game. Listening to this interview I felt that, at the same time, there were so many ideas I could have incorporated in my campaign to make it better and that we kind of got the spirit of it right, so it was as good as we could make it. Also Mikey was spot on, the Chill in our campaign rolled three sixes in the positive part of the prologue and ended up being happy ever after 😂

Also, I love the energy you bring to the interviews. I hope I can meet you and Mikey at a Convention and get you guys to sign my copy of Slugblaster.

2025-05-06 16:52:30 +0000 UTCI REMEMBER that Ben 10: Alien Force episode (31:20) featuring the 10th alien. It was called Alien X. They reversed time to prevent a dam bursting, but became immobile like a statue while Ben's conscience was transported into the space with two other universal consciences (Ben was the third). I think one of the arguments was whether to save the Dinosaurs. No idea what set of circumstances let me watch that particular episode, given that I fell off the series after Alien Force.

Am I foolish for considering Slugblaster as Sci-Fi over Fantasy? (Not unhappy about a Slugblaster review - just sore that I didn't guess correctly :P)

Ordered it from MythWorks when I got the Wildsea expansion because it just looked so fresh and interesting (just like Wildsea!) and I still had a little bit of space on my shelves (oh those were the days!)
