For additional context: Foundries are bits of Aerok technology that allow for the automated creation of tools and weapons, but what makes it unique is the synthesis of artificial metal pioneered by the birds. This metal is what Jex's sword is made from.
Sledge on the other hand deals in producing swords the old-fashioned Human way, using normal metals n junk to make stuff that's more crude by comparison to what Foundries can produce.
